Our house in Provence is located in the small and charming town of Vence, about 16 km north of Nice. The location is attractive, only 900 meters from the ring wall that surrounds the medieval city center. In its narrow cobbled alleys you will find lots of cozy restaurants, trendy wine bars, cafés, galleries and chicka boutiques.
The outdoor environment is very desirable and the terraces are located in three floors. On the top floor there is plenty of space for both sunbeds and diners and here is one of the two outdoor kitchens. On the lower floor is the nice pool area with a wonderful swimming pool, integrated jacuzzi and open bar facing the lower outdoor kitchen. The outdoor kitchen is well equipped with pizza oven, fridge / freezer, microwave, hob, etc. Straight south you can see the Mediterranean sea and cap-d'Antibes.
On the ground floor there is a large drawing room open to the rustic Provençal kitchen and a toilet. On the upper level there is a spacious master bedroom with a private terrace and bathroom, as well as three more bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet.
The house has a quiet location on a cul de sac and most of the walk into the old town takes place on a walkway without major level differences. When you visit the house in Vence you get an excellent quality of life and an enviable logistics.
Renting a car is not necessary, you can do very well on foot and in exceptional cases with the help of a taxi. A taxi ride between the airport and Vence takes about 20 minutes and costs about € 30.
The property is undergoing an extensive renovation. First check-in is scheduled for April 2022.

Vence is a good starting point for a successful holiday in Provence, whether you attach importance to the cultural experiences in the area, wine and gastronomy, an active holiday with cycling and hiking tours in nature or just sunbathe.
Vence is an old town whose history stretches back to Roman times and whose old town dates back to the Middle Ages. The old city wall is extremely well preserved and inside it are old, oblique houses, along the narrow winding cobbled streets.
In addition to the old town, everyday life in Vence takes place, with markets in the central square, Place du Grand-Jardin. Every morning you can buy fruit, vegetables, flowers, and on Wednesdays it is a popular market.
France's most famous artist village, St Paul de Vence is only 5 kilometres from the house and to the extremely charming Tourrettes-sur-Loup it is seven kilometres.
